ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Dani Kates, New York native and alumna of Parson’s School of Design is the creative mind behind Dani Kates Corp. and designer of both Dani Kates Swimwear and KanDi Swim by Dani Kates. Dani’s experience studying Fine Arts at Cornell University helped develop a foundation of knowledge with a deep aesthetic and conceptual understanding of color and design. Her extensive academic fine art training coupled with her fashion design experience at Parsons and her innate creativity results in a fresh, sophisticated, and unique design perspective. Dani has infused her love of swimwear and design with elements of art, nostalgia, indulgence, pop culture and more into her collections to create powerful pieces that have a universal appeal among women. She incorporates her impeccable taste and artistic eye into each piece but never loses sight of the importance of what women ultimately want - quality swimwear that fits well.
